How to Build a Female SCART to Sony
PVM Adapter

This
adapter enable the use of RGB games consoles and computers on Sony PVM monitors
which have BNC input for RGB and external Sync. It also works with others
monitors which accept RGB and separate Sync signal thru BNC connectors.
The video
signals, Red, Green, Blue and Sync are outputted via BNC connectors and the
left and right audio is outputted via two separate RCA plugs.

If the image is not properly displayed on your PVM, check in the User Config menu of the monitor that you selected RVB (not Component) as entry signal ;

(NB: Depending on PVMs models, Menu options can be named differently or a switch is available on the back of the moniteur)
Service Menu :
On some PVMs you can enter into the service menu in order to access advanced settings ;
Press « menu », then « degauss » and « enter » at the same time, that lets you enter to the service menu and change some parameters like the vertical and horizontal screen size.
